(More customer reviews)The poster is indeed a sublime work of art; however, my poster was not aqua as indicated in Amazon's picture. It is more of a navy blue with medium sky blue highlights and whitecaps.

Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) was a Japanese Uhiyo-e artist. The shon of a shogun, Hiroshiye studied as an apprentice under Utagaw Toyohiro. His early work focused largely on women and actors but her began painting landscapes in 1831. After his death, in 1859, a collection of his prints entitled One Hundred Famous Views of Edo was published.
