Batman (originally referred to as the Bat-Man, and additionally as the Caped Crusader and the Dark Knight) is a fictional character, a comic book superhero co-created by artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger, appearing in publications by DC Comics. The character first appeared in Detective Comics #27 in May 1939. Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire playboy, industrialist, and philanthropist. Having witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, Wayne trains himself both physically and intellectually and dons a bat-themed costume in order to fight crime. Batman operates in the fictional American Gotham City, assisted by various supporting characters including his sidekick Robin and his butler Alfred Pennyworth.

(More customer reviews)The three 11x17 posters I received from moviegoods (and thus pop culture graphics) are not full bleed posters. This means the images do not go all the way to the edges of the poster. Therefore, there is a white border around the image of about 1/4" on the sides and 1/2" top and bottom.
In addition, the images show some pixelation and are not as sharp as most would want. Depending on the detail level of the poster chosen, this may or may not show as much to the eye. However, just beware that these appear to be images printed onto glossy paper and not actual high quality posters most would be accustomed to.

(More customer reviews)i purchased this really cool looking Spidey poster expecting that it would glow in the dark because the ad on amazon said glow in the dark. my mistake folks, NO glow in the dark anywhere to be found on the poster, ONLY some white areas. When i complained to the company who sold it on amazon they told me to look harder and hold it near the light. i did that for about 2 days and gave up. very disappointing but a great illustration of Spidey. dont be fooled by the glow in the dark description, there isnt any. beware=)

(More customer reviews)I bought this poster as a toungue-placed-firmly-in-cheek addition to my dining space. (I'm not the world's greatest cook!) I really liked the movie and so was drawn to the image, which is the iconic moment we all remember. The graphics are great, and the poster evokes the same feeling as the art direction did in the film: very ethereal and other-wordly. Plus, let's face it, eyeballin' Gerard Butler every time I dine ain't too shabby!
As previously commented by another, the paper stock is very heavy and it's a well done poster all around. You won't be disappointed. I framed mine in a very simple black wood frame and it looks great!

(More customer reviews)This ad to this poster is very misleading. first of all, the poster is 2 inches too short on both sides measuring up to 22x34, not 24x36, which doesnt sound like a big deal, but I like to put my posters in frames, and this one will look very stupid with the brown border in back because it's too small to fit in the frame. another thing is that the poster does not have the credits at the bottom like in the picture, nor does it have a list of the actors name at the top like the product description. VERY DISAPPOINTED in this product.
