Antonio Ramiro Romo (born April 21, 1980 in San Diego, California) is an American football player in the NFL. He is currently the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys. Romo played college football at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Illinois. He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Cowboys in 2003. Romo eventually took over the starting quarterback role from Drew Bledsoe during half time on October 23, 2006.
