Comes with glass (no cheap plexi), a nice divider box (the frame inside the frame) that can hold glass in the back, for a dramatic shadow frame, or in the front, for an actual shadowbox for little momentos. The great thing for me was the thin white piece of foam that it came with. I actually ordered this to display 4 handpainted, clay brooches, and the foam was PERFECT for attaching & displaying them. There couldn't be a better box for pins or medals (or even a dried butterfly or anything that may need to be pinned). Craft suggestion: cut your choice of fabric around the foam piece & glue onto foam for a more customized background for your special keepsakes.
