Flight of The Conchords is a New Zealand based comedy/folk music duo made up of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. They formed in 2000 while at school and acheived a small following after performing at several comedy festivals. In 2004 they created a series for BBC Radio detailing their quest for mainstream fame. This also became the basis for their 2007 HBO television series. Each episode featured a new song that was relevant to the plot.
