(More customer reviews)We priced out the artwork and found the poster for $6. So for $40 (including shipping) we thought we were getting a nicely framed product. I would have been better off going to Walmart and buying their cheapest frame. I would have saved money and gotten a better frame. Yes, this frame is wood. It has a plastic insert, not glass. It's certainly not worth the $25+ I paid. Don't get ripped off. Order the poster. Buy the frame locally. You'll be glad you did.

Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima is a historic photograph taken on February 23, 1945, by Joe Rosenthal. It became the only photograph to win the Pulitzer Prize for Photography in the same year as its publication, and ultimately came to be regarded as one of the most significant and recognizable images of the war. The picture was later used by Felix de Weldon to sculpt the USMC War Memorial, located adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery just outside Washington, D.C.
