The colors are similar to the picture, except the item has a more metallic sheen to it in person than it does in the photograph. It's very light and inexpensive, and it comes with nails to mount it on, which is nice. However, because it's light and inexpensive it is not built extremely well. The buttons are not sewn on, but glued on with hot glue. So when mine arrived, some of the buttons had already fallen off. And in order to return it I would have to pay a 15% restocking fee along with shipping and handling. For a poor college student, it's good enough the way it is, but be careful with the item and the seller. Although it is very pretty and cheap for how large it is, it still might be better to look at another product.
