Shipping was fast, however, I first received a two inch wide black plastic frame, which was completely wrong. I called the seller and they said I could keep it and they'd send the new one in time for Christmas. I appreciated not having to return ship such a large package. I did get the new frame in time. It is listed as a red rustic pine frame, however the red wood grain looks like a sticker placed over a basic composite frame. The backing is just corrugated cardboard, which is not as durable as other frames I've gotten from Amazon. It looks good though once up on the wall and I am happy for the price.

(More customer reviews)First let me tell you the good stuff: this is one gorgeous picture. Obviously Photoshopped from a photograph, but well done.
Now the bad stuff. The PAPER is 11 x 17, not the PICTURE. I blew $75 on custom-cut mats and a custom-made frame based on the vendor's description, only to find that the hole in the mat was bigger than the paper the picture was printed on. The paper is also cheap, thinner than the 24-lb bond I use in my inkjet printer.
The picture was worth the price (although not the price plus shipping). Just don't get an expensive frame until you see the whites of His Holiness' eyes.

(More customer reviews)Images seem to have been taken in B&W then colorized for a more graphic look. But somehow, it still comes across as flat and lifeless. How anyone can acheive giving a lifeless quality to New York City I have no idea. Also, the yellow colorization was wrong. I know NY cabs; they are closer to butterscotch yellow than the canary yellow in the poster. The traffic controls on either side just sit there, and again, are the same wrong yellow color. Overall, a flat out miss.

Chauncey Ray Billups (born September 25, 1976, in Denver, Colorado) is an American professional basketball player. He is a point guard for the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association. Johann Friedrich Overbeck (4 July 1789 - 1869), was a German painter and member of the Nazarene movement. In 1806, the young artist entered as student the academy of Vienna, then under the direction of Heinrich Füger. While Overbeck clearly accrued some of the polished technical aspects of the neoclassic painters, he was alienated by lack of religious spirituality in the themes chosen by his masters. In 1810 Overbeck came to Rome, and was joined by a company of like-minded artists. They became known as the Nazarenes. Their precept was hard and honest work and holy living; they eschewed the antique as pagan, the Renaissance as false, and built up a revival on simple nature and on the art of Perugino, Pinturicchio, Francia and Raphael.

(More customer reviews)These are great if you love to decorate the inside of your home for Halloween. We always have a big neighborhood costume party and I try and give our house a goth/haunted house feel. These changing portraits are fantastic (I own 2 this one and one of young man). The pcture comes in a plastic frame which actually doesn't look bad (I've seen cheap knock-offs in local drug stores and they aren't worth the money, the frames are awful and the picutes often have serious flaws) but it is also easy to remove the picture and place it in a real frame. I like to place my haunted photos amongst my family pictures to give my guests a surprise. I'm always looking to add to my collection because with this kind of prop the more you have the bigger the scare factor.
