(More customer reviews)We come from a family of Spartans, and when I found this item on Amazon, I thought it would make a great birthday gift for my Dad. Both he and my Mom loved it. It brought back some great memories and they thought the product itself was well put-together. They've already hung it on the wall in their finished basement where they have a bar/game room.

Michigan State beat Indiana State 75 to 64 in Salt Lake City to capture the NCAA basketball championship. This front page of the sports section, dated Tuesday March 27th 1979, is a reproduction of the Detroit Free Press newspaper. Gregory Kelser and Earvin (Magic) Johnson are pictured in action.
