(More customer reviews)I always wanted a shadow box. I love how they look and what they do!
For the past few months I have been cleaning out my house and doing things I've always wanted to do. One of these was to put my baby clothes in a shadow box. Instead of the 12 x 12 white-framed shadow box shown, I purchased a 17 x 13 box with a black velvet lining. On it I pinned a baby jacket, skull cap, and two booties. I actually have three booties, but thought a third one would look odd!
The fragility of these items made handling a delicate matter. The discoloration I was not sure how to treat, so I left the items in their condition and encased them.
I placed the box over a bookcase. Now I have fulfilled one of the things on my list to do after retirement. I'm still working, but have a little extra money to take care of a few inexpensive dreams.
