(More customer reviews)I have been shopping for baskets a lot recently. Trying to find the right size, color and quality for the right price. I thought I had done it with these, but I was a little disappointed. They kind of have some orange tones in them and are not a very deep color. The picture implies "espresso" right? It's not. They look okay, but feel pretty cheap for the price. Thirty bucks for what seems like a nickel's worth of materials. Also, when you open the box, they have a weird, chemical smell from the dye, which, thankfully dissipates. But, here's the thing- they are still cheaper than most that you can find in any store these days and the measurements are correct in the description. They are not great, definitely not the best looking, but they are functional, usable, little guys and I just ordered another set to match the ones I already have. ;)

Guardsman Furniture Touch Up Kit Review

(More customer reviews)I am so glad to have found that this item is still for sale. I had been using it on my old "engraved" bedroom set for years and when we moved and bought "real" furniture, I needed it again for the bumps, etc. that occurred in the moving plus on the new houses cabinets. My old Guardsman set was dried out -- one of the pens still worked a little but the set is around 25 to 30 years old now. It is amazing that I put in "Guardsman Furniture Touch-Ups" (oops) and furniture touch up yesterday on the website and NOTHING came up. I kept getting book titles, etc. All of a sudden today it comes up and other similar products, too where none existed before. WEIRD.
You start by marking with the lightest color pen (thank goodness they now use different color lids on each pen), and wipe the excess with a cloth, then try the next darker, etc. Works great and my old set always looked so much better after a treatment. You could never tell that I had touched it up.

(More customer reviews)I'm someone who is pretty critical of products, and have written some pretty scathing reviews of items that I feel have let me down. But having bought two of these, I just do NOT understand the bad reviews. First, I find it astounding that even ONE person (let alone THREE) would think that the rack comes with the capsules. Really? Do you also think your breakfast cereal comes with the fruit, bowls, silverware, and smiling children on the box? I mean, no offense people, but come on... use your heads. (And as most people who buy nespresso know, you can only buy the capsules from nespresso. no other entity sells them. annoying, yes, but that's the way it is.) Second, while I can't exactly say that it is an economical solution (if you want that, a cardboard box or existing drawer would probably work just fine), it is WAY cheaper than anything on nespresso's own site (their capsule storage solutions are jokes -- I'm a total sucker for consumer goods and even I won't pay the ridiculous prices they charge). While I understand the criticism that there should be additional mounting options besides the double stick mounting tape, it's not THAT big of a deal. (In my case, the double stick mounting tape they supplied kind of sucked, not nearly sticky or adhesive enough for the inside of my cabinet door, and I heard a crash in the middle of the night and woke up to capsules all over the shelves!I replaced it with heavy duty velcro adhesive, and I've never had a problem since. So yes, I'll deduct one star for the lame mounting tape.) But for people with criticisms like "what if I move?": It's SO easy to go to a hardware store and get new velcro or new mounting tape for your new house. You can pick it up while you're buying moving boxes!

I looked at a lot of free-standing closets, and was worried about this one because it sounded too good to be true for $99. It arrived fast, was easy for one petite person to put together, and is unbelievably solid and well built. It has tons of space, and the shelves are tall enough to hold stacked plastic drawers. Compares favorably with the much more expensive wire shelving from the Container Store.
I should give it 5 stars, but the dark grey cover is really ugly, so I'm giving it 4.
