The tree has a removable base, so that it can be mounted on the wall (it's pretty big) or use the base for a desk or table. It has holders for 6 2x3" pictures, it would be nice if they came with more. Even though the measurements of the tree were included in the discription, it didn't prepare me for the HUGE box that showed up! The leaves can be bent with little effort but overall seems very sturdy. I'm very pleased with the tree and would highly recommend.

I think it is something in the way it is shipped. I have ordered from another merchant and am waiting to see if this one comes damaged as well. But if it wasnt broken it is absolutely gorgeous!!

The photo shows the mobile attached to a stand, however, the item does not come with a stand, only the mobile. Other items that are photographed with just the mobile sell for less, but I purchased this one based on the fact that a stand would come with it. I was wrong. The photo of this item is deceiving.
