(More customer reviews)Well, not only is this a re-print of the Watchmen poster, but a low quality one at that. Colors are dark and dull and the yellow letterings are fuzzy. Plus, it's non-glossy... 2 stars because it came kinda fast and well packaged.
Contacted the company Poster Revolution because I thought it was made from them, but they have confirmed that it is not their poster but rather the seller's, MovieGoods. AVOID MOVIEGOODS!

Watchmen is a 2009 American epic superhero film that adapts Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' 1986 comic book limited series of the same name. The story is set in an alternate 1985 where superheroes exist, Richard Nixon is still president, and tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union are at an all-time high. The vigilante Rorschach (Jackie Earle Haley) is investigating the murder of a former hero, the Comedian (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and uncovers a plot to discredit and murder various heroes. Rorschach discovers a far wider-ranging conspiracy involving his colleagues' past which could completely change the course of history.

(More customer reviews)I ordered this poster in the 13x19 size, and (hand to god) it looks like someone took a medium sized .jpg off the internet of the David painting and stretched it to fit an 11x17 sheet of paper, then sold it here. Really, Socrates' face is so pixelated, it looks like it has about 20 pixels total. The pixels are the size of a small remote control button. I am embarrassed to ask my school to repay me for this purchase.

Jacques-Louis David (30 August 1748 ? 29 December 1825) was a highly influential French painter in the Neoclassical style, considered to be the preeminent painter of the era. In the 1780s his cerebral brand of history painting marked a change in taste away from Rococo frivolity toward a classical austerity and severity, heightened feeling chiming with the moral climate of the final years of the ancien régime. He later developed his 'Empire style', notable for its use of warm Venetian colours. David had a huge number of pupils, making him the strongest influence in French art of the early 19th century, especially academic Salon painting.

(More customer reviews)This is my favorite poster of the prequel films -- it's lush and romantic, with Christensen and Portman taking up about half or more of the image. It's really breathtakingly designed. And this poster was delivered under a week with standard shipping! Very satisfied.
Note, though, that the contrast in the picture above is a bit more intense than the poster itself, and the color is just slightly less intense. The picture above has a more reddish-orange hue, whereas the poster has a slightly gentler flesh tone. In any case, it looks better in person, I think.

The poster I received was 22.5 x 34. Great poster and all, but the manufacturer needs to properly measure their posters before release.

James Bond Movie From Russia With Love, Drawn Poster Print Review

(More customer reviews)I received the poster from Poster Revolution in a very flimsy package. Upon opening it up, the frame was broken in 4 pieces, the plexy-glass was cracked with framents inside the box and finally the cardboard backing was ripped. I contacted Poster Revolution right away leaving several voice messages and then many emails. They were not quick to respond, but finally they emailed stating I would receive a refund if I returned the item. I asked if they paid for the return postage but they said "no". I then asked if I could keep the poster itself (which was amazingly the only thing that wasn't damaged) to offset my time and expense to return the item. Poster Revolution never responded! Amazon even sent me an email instructing me to add insurance onto the postage to cover the item in case of damage! I replied to Amazon that the reason I was returning the product, was that I received it in a completely DAMAGED state! It cost me $20 to return the $64 dollar item. Only time will tell how long it takes them to give me a credit card refund. If they aren't prompt, then that will force me to file a claim with my credit card company. I hope it doesn't come to that, but this whole situation has been ONE BIG HASSLE!
Needless to say that I will NO LONGER order from Poster Revolution or Amazon!
