(More customer reviews)This frame is made of heavy molded plastic, with two sheets of glass to hold a picture or document. The picture of this item must not be the 11 by 14-inch version, though, because the black part of the frame was narrower than I expected (less than an inch). It was a little disappointing that the look isn't more modern. A thicker frame would look more appropriate for "floating" displays in general, I think.
