For the price, the mounting and condition of the item was fine. However, a significant portion of the painting was cropped off to make it fit the dimensions of the product. The photo in the product listing shows the complete painting. However, the print is missing a little over 10 percent of the painting (the loss is in height, including about 1/2 of the large upper cloud, as well as some off the bottom). As much of the lighter areas and sky are lost, what is left seems very dark and confined--not at all the feeling of the painting as a whole. Granted, I should have realized that the painting would not fit the listed dimensions of the print, but I simply didn't think of it given the misleading listing photograph.

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Some of his paintings are now among the world's best known, most popular and expensive works of art. Most of his best-known works were produced in the final two years of his life, during which time he cut off part of his left ear following a breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide. His popular works include The Starry Night, Starry Night Over the Rhone, The Night Cafe, Bedroom in Arles, Sunflowers, Cafe Terrace at Night.
