I was very excited to receive it, but after opening it, I found that the matting was too small for the frame allowing a gaping space to show through from the back to the front. The matting and the cardboard easel backing are warped as well. It is warped in a way that the edges curl away from the glass. The frame includes letter stickers to add the baby's name, but there is no place to mount the stickers. There is nothing in between the matting on the front and the ugly cardboard easel backing. I will need to purchase separate matting so I can mount the letters. Adding more matting will keep the picture from slipping around since everything is warped and loose. As for overall quality, it's a cheap poly-acrylic type frame. It's something you might find at a dollar-type store. I cannot recommend this product at all.

(More customer reviews)What a nice surprise when I opened the package for this frame. The pictures and description online do not come close to the quality received. The frame is beautifully stressed for a slightly aged look. The wood is of good quality and the carving of the inscription if very well done. Although the size of the frame was mentioned, it seemed much larger in person. I gave it to my neice for Christmas and she loved! So did everyone else in the room!

(More customer reviews)The picture frames are adorable gifts to grandparents or Mother/Father's day. I got one for my older daughter when she was 3 (who is now 8), and now got one for my younger 3 year old daughter. I also mailed one each to the grandparents.
It's pretty flimsy, but definitely a keeper. One of those mementos we'd like to grow old with. My older daughter's frame is fading slightly and the frame support keeps falling off, if they get that sorted out I would highly recommend this product.
But for a novelty item, the design more than makes up for our disappointments.
