(More customer reviews)This is certainly a beautiful and well made frame. However the opening is not 5x7 it is 4.5 x 6.5 approx. This is why I gave it 3 stars. So be aware of that. It will cut off certain parts of a picture and that is not good if you need the entire 5x7 showing. Otherwise it is very nice.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this frame off of a friend's Wish List as a thank you gift. I'm glad I opened the package before I gave it to her because the frame was horribly ugly. First of all, the entire package was covered in "Made in China" stickers. When I took the frame out, it was not at all colorful and "Tiffany" style as shown in the picture. Instead, it was mostly grey colored, looked like cut-out plastic instead of glass, and was totally flimsy. The metal detailing was really think and very slopping looking. After paying $35 for this frame plus shipping, there was no way I was going to keep it. If you're looking for something pretty and classy for your photos or a gift for someone, DO NOT BUY THIS FRAME.

I was very excited to receive it, but after opening it, I found that the matting was too small for the frame allowing a gaping space to show through from the back to the front. The matting and the cardboard easel backing are warped as well. It is warped in a way that the edges curl away from the glass. The frame includes letter stickers to add the baby's name, but there is no place to mount the stickers. There is nothing in between the matting on the front and the ugly cardboard easel backing. I will need to purchase separate matting so I can mount the letters. Adding more matting will keep the picture from slipping around since everything is warped and loose. As for overall quality, it's a cheap poly-acrylic type frame. It's something you might find at a dollar-type store. I cannot recommend this product at all.

(More customer reviews)The picture frames are adorable gifts to grandparents or Mother/Father's day. I got one for my older daughter when she was 3 (who is now 8), and now got one for my younger 3 year old daughter. I also mailed one each to the grandparents.
It's pretty flimsy, but definitely a keeper. One of those mementos we'd like to grow old with. My older daughter's frame is fading slightly and the frame support keeps falling off, if they get that sorted out I would highly recommend this product.
But for a novelty item, the design more than makes up for our disappointments.

(More customer reviews)This is a well made frame with a hefty, solid feel, nice finish and well crafted assembly. Each frame measures 7 1/4" x 5 1/8" (this is its closed size, too). Both frames are 3/4"wide all the way around, made of brushed, silver-plated metal and are highlighted by a thin polished silver bevel around each opening. Simple but handsome. I printed and inserted two important photos as a gift for a friend, and I am awed by how fine they look in their frames.
A note about photo sizes: The actual size of each picture-opening is 5 5/8" (horizontal) x 3 1/2", centered within each frame. The overall size of the photo-paper it holds (bordered or not) is 7" x 5 1/8", so size, print and position pics accordingly.

Essential Metal Picture Frame 5x7" Review

(More customer reviews)I was very disappointed with this picture frame. First, the frame cannot be hung on a wall; I had to remove the stand with a screw driver and use adhesive strips. The silver finish is very nice, but unfortunately it is ruined because only three of the four sides are enclosed. The backing which holds the picture in the frame slides out from one side and so that edge is left entirely exposed (instead of using clips). Finally, at this price I had purchased two very nice large (11x14) wood frames which used clips to hold the backing in and supported wall hanging both in portrait and landscape orientations. I should have spent more time researching before purchasing this a frame ... which is what I recommend you do and to buy something else.

(More customer reviews)This frame arrived broken. I had to glue it back together. That may sound like an easy task, but it wasn't. Every time I glued one section, another one came loose. Furthermore, for a frame that holds only a 5x7 print, it's huge. I keep my photos on top of my piano and it takes up an inordinate amount of space. If you need a 5x7 frame, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
