Premium Resin Poster Hangers in Matte Black by RichAndFramous Review

Premium Resin Poster Hangers in Matte Black by RichAndFramous

My roommate bought these poster hangers on amazon after we received a number of posters as gifts for our house warming party. Okay, it's an apartment - but the point is these poster hangers are amazing! I always thought I would prefer real frame for my artwork but there is something so clean and elegant about these hangers. They do everything they need to in the simplest way possible. They make sure my artwork stays flat and straight on my wall, they don't cover up the edges of my posters and they have a minimalist chic look to them. I am a huge fan! This style has a handy hole in the back so you can hang them on almost any hook or nail. I highly recommend this product - especially for the price.

The poster is indeed a sublime work of art; however, my poster was not aqua as indicated in Amazon's picture. It is more of a navy blue with medium sky blue highlights and whitecaps.

Decent poster, however it looks as if it was printed off someone's home inkjet. The size as well is not frame friendly. I bought this one as a filler piece for my wall with other posters. This was the only one from the seller that dissapointed. Colors aren't as vivid or as rich, however it is what it is.

Edvard Munch (The Scream) Art Poster Print Review

Edvard Munch (The Scream) Art Poster Print
Average Reviews:

For the price, it was a great deal! I bought it to use in my classroom. My students are currently painting their own version of The Scream, so it was nice to have a large visual reference. The only issue was that it is a little bit grainy looking. But is was inexpensive, delivered quickly, and large enough to use in the classroom.

Edvard Munch (December 12, 1863 - January 23, 1944) was a Norwegian expressionist painter and printmaker. The Scream (1893 originally called Despair), Munch's best-known painting, is part of a series titled The Frieze of Life, in which he explored the themes of life, love, fear, death and melancholy. His major works include Evening on Karl Johan, The Scream, Ashes, Madonna, Puberty, Death in the Sickroom, Dance of Live, Dead Mother. The Scream has been the target of several high-profile art thefts. In 1994, the version in the National Gallery of Norway was stolen. It was recovered several months later. In 2004, The Scream and Madonna were stolen from the Munch Museum. Both paintings were recovered in 2006. They had sustained some damage and went back on display in May 2008, after undergoing restoration.

This is the largest print I could find of The Great Wave online and I worried that it would be pixelated or in some other way low quality, but I was pleasantly surprised, especially for the price. Wonderful clear print and I'm having it framed this week. Very pleased.

Utagawa Hiroshige (1797 - October 12, 1858) was a Japanese ukiyo-e (woodblock) artist, and one of the last great artists in that tradition. He was also referred to as And? Hiroshige and by the art name of Ichiy?sai Hiroshige. Hiroshige largely confined himself in his early work to common ukiyo-e themes such as women and actors. Then, Hiroshige made a dramatic turnabout, with the 1831 landscape series Famous Views of the Eastern Capital. 17th Century World Map (Antique) Art Poster Print Review

17th Century World Map (Antique) Art Poster Print
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought this poster to be the center piece of the "Old World Travels" theme I am going for in my living room. I am on a modest budget so this poster fit the price range I had in mind. I love the design, there are so many details that I stared at the poster for almost 5 minutes when it arrived! The only drawbacks are that it does have a glossy finish so it definitely looks cheaper than others with a matte finish.
Regarding the shipping- as others have mentioned my item came in a cardboard tube, but as expected with the shipping process it was banged around and subsequently smashed on one end. It was only a small area that was squished but the entire bottom border of the picture now has a bumpy appearance. I especially notice it in the evening when the lights are reflecting off it, needless to say this is annoying!

Sepia Three Dasies Art Print Poster Review

Sepia Three Dasies Art Print Poster
Average Reviews:

Don't buy the frame. It's 4 separate pieces of cheap plastic with not clear plastic piece to cover the picture itself. I bought 4 prints from this same seller at the same time and all four prints came out extremely grainy. All they did was blow up an extremely low resolution original. For a retailer selling art (even extremely cheap art) the least they could do is sell at a decent resolution. I will not buy from again and I encourage others to not make the mistake I made.

Mark Rothko, born Marcus Rothkowitz (Latvian: Marks Rotko, September 25, 1903 - February 25, 1970), was a Latvian-born American painter and printmaker. He is classified as an abstract expressionist, although he himself rejected this label, and even resisted the classification as an 'abstract painter'. In New York, Rothko enrolled in the New School of Design, where one of his instructors was the artist Arshile Gorky. This was probably his first encounter with a member of the "avant-garde". That autumn, he took courses at the Art Students League of New York taught by still-life artist Max Weber. Rothko's move to New York established him in a fertile atmosphere for the experience of art from all cultures and periods.
