(More customer reviews)This is certainly a beautiful and well made frame. However the opening is not 5x7 it is 4.5 x 6.5 approx. This is why I gave it 3 stars. So be aware of that. It will cut off certain parts of a picture and that is not good if you need the entire 5x7 showing. Otherwise it is very nice.

(More customer reviews)This is just what I was expecting: a basic picture frame of good quality. Hard to go wrong here. I actually gave it as a gift and she was happy with it.
Not sure how much more can be said. I was perhaps expecting the frame to be a bit darker than it was, but the color is totally fine. Will work with most photos. The frame itself is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but if you read the product dimensions, it's exactly what they say there. The hardware on the back for the stand works and seems solid and stable.
It's a good value and I'd recommend this to others.

(More customer reviews)They are absolutely beautiful! I bought the black, dark brown, camel and red leather frames. Be warned - they do NOT have wall hangers on them. The description is very clear about a black velvet easel backing for tabletop display but I must've glossed over that part. Completely my own fault!
My only complaint is that I ordered four of them and I asked Amazon to send them all at once, even if it meant waiting longer but Amazon didn't. So I got four boxes: one for each of the frames that I ordered.

(More customer reviews)This frame is beautiful. It is large and heavy, but quite lovely. I have one for myself, and I may even order an additional one as a gift for my Mother.
I'm not crazy about the heart shaped frame at the top; no matter how carefully you cut out a picture, it still looks like you cut a picture into a heart. Also, there is no mechanism to hang this frame, so make sure you are looking for a standing frame. Also, it may be worth noting that most wedding invitations are NOT 5x7 sized. I wasn't thinking about that when I registered for the frame, but I lucked out. My invitations were 5x7 on a larger backing, so the inset part of the invitation fit perfectly in the frame.

(More customer reviews)I was very disappointed with this picture frame. First, the frame cannot be hung on a wall; I had to remove the stand with a screw driver and use adhesive strips. The silver finish is very nice, but unfortunately it is ruined because only three of the four sides are enclosed. The backing which holds the picture in the frame slides out from one side and so that edge is left entirely exposed (instead of using clips). Finally, at this price I had purchased two very nice large (11x14) wood frames which used clips to hold the backing in and supported wall hanging both in portrait and landscape orientations. I should have spent more time researching before purchasing this a frame ... which is what I recommend you do and to buy something else.

(More customer reviews)We had ordered some school photos for our 2 elementary school-aged daughters, and got a few 3.5" x 5" prints (one child per print) that happened to come out really well. We wanted to send the photos to the grandparents and a few other relatives. We also wanted to spare the relatives the hassle of looking for frames (otherwise they might never get around to displaying the photos), and we wanted the photos to go together as a "set".
We looked around the usual local chain stores for a dual frame that could hold both of these photos of this size side-by-side, and you'd be surprised how difficult it was to find this exact size and type of frame! It seems 4x6", 5x7", and 8x10" are much more popular and come in greater varieties.
So, we searched on-line, and even then, there were slim pickings, but thankfully we found this frame, so we ordered a few and had them sent to us. The frames are clean, simple, solid, and do the job. The 2 side-by-side portrait photos of the kids look great, and the relatives love the photos and are displaying them in their homes. The frames are nothing fancy, but they are certainly accpetable, and considering how hard they were to find, I'm very happy with them.

The downside is the fact that the opening for the photo is slightly larger than 5x7; hence, there is a slight gap between the picture and the edge of the frame. From a distance it is hard to note, but if standing up close you can see the gap. Still, we have the frame and picture on our ledge and enjoy its beauty.
