I was really surprised when this frame arrived and it had yellow-orange colored rhinestones glued all over the otherwise gorgeous, classy frame. The provided image is so small that I didn't realize there were rhinestones on it before ordering. Now that I have the frame and came back to the picture again here at Amazon and SQUINT REALLY HARD I can see where they show in the picture, though I am disappointed that the written description didn't make this bit of 'bling' clear at the outset. On my particular frame there are also a few small 'shiny' spots where you can tell glue from the rhinestones dripped and changed the matte finish of the frame.
I don't intend to return the frame, though I will probably try to rough up the areas where the shiny glue drips are and possibly attempt to paint over the rhinestones with a nice quality bronze metallic acrylic. Or maybe they will grow on me.... I would not have purchased this frame if I had seen it in person.
On another note, it would appear that the particular frame I received had either possibly been returned or just had a bit of poor handling prior to being shipped. On the glass piece there once was obviously a price sticker which was removed but a large amount of 'gunk' remains with lint, etc. on the glass. I purchased this frame along with another Fetco frame from the same vendor, and the package overall was well wrapped and there was no evidence of this kind of thing on the other frame, so I will assume it was a careless error and not the service you would typically expect from the company... though my invoice also marks only one item shipped and the other backordered even though they were both in the same package. We'll see.
If you like a little bling on your frames, or perhaps for a younger person this frame would still be ideal. It's sturdy and well-balanced, etc. It just wasn't what I expected or quite wanted based upon the image and written description in the product information.
